We are looking for a highly motivated senior Alliances leader to lead our EMEA Partner & Alliances team. It's an unique role and we are precise in our requirements: We are truly looking for a person with a proven track record in building and running an indirect ecosystem at scale. You will be responsible for creating and executing a Partner strategy that supports Elastic’s growth aspirations in the EMEA market. The focus is on driving incremental revenue as well as building elastic skills and consulting capacity within our partners in order to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. 

You will:

  • Lead the EMEA Partner & Alliances team which is a strategic pillar of our growth strategy in the region.  This role sits on the EMEA Senior Leadership team as well as the global Partner and Alliances leadership team.
  • Be responsible for building out our partner ecosystem with a clear focus on incremental revenue to elastic across all partner types. 
  • Scale business by engaging with hyper-scalers (Azure, Google Cloud & AWS) at leadership level and growing our existing partnerships with them.
  • Build & scales our MSP, OEM & Tech partnerships in the region
  • Lead and drive our approach on partner programs, partner enablement, metrics, team enablement, strategy, and planning
  • Work closely with each regional sales AVP and cross functional groups to align on territory based partner strategy, resources, and execution
  • Senior leadership and stakeholder management, both internally and externally 

Requirements:

  • Great Alliances or Partner people leader. History of building and managing teams with high employee engagement and execution
  • Experience building from scratch and managing an International Partner and Alliances organization in a growth company
  • Ability to range from executive relationship building, contract negotiations, internal team building, channel program design, detailed metrics and analysis, and partner enablement
  • Willingness to travel 30% of the time, including international travel
  • Understanding of analytics, search, or big data markets / products or ability to learn quickly
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 10+ years of experience
  • Preferred locations: United Kingdom - The Netherlands - Germany
